Pictures and words.
“‘Far’ is a name I gave myself, although only others use it.
Because no matter where I am, or what I’m doing, in my heart,
I’m far.”

well he hands you a nickel
he hands you a dime.
he asks you with a grin
if you’re having a good time.

the sun said, “son,

i know that you have sinned,

and you will again

in time.”

the moon said, “soon

i’ll give you her love too,

when you both have seen

the light.”

and I fell into

the feeling that i’d lost you

but the sun and the moon

say i love you

and i won’t be the

one to argue

i felt the earth begin to wake

with every step I took.

i found myself alone and free

beside a bubbling brook.

and I fell down

without a sound

i knew i’d found

         a lovely place to be,

          presented so wholly to me

tumblrbot asked: WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?

That of being in some giant playplace in the city with a multitude of strange kids, and a man entering the play place, asking if any of us had seen a kid. I couldn’t hear what he was saying that well, but it sounded like he was asking, “Where’s Ano Dominic?”. I think the child was named after our period of history.
